You feel more energetic through the day
You're learning your own hunger cues
Your relationship with food has improved
Your sleep quality and/or quality has improved
You're moving more
You're drinking more water regularly
You're feeling less stressed
Your clothes are fitting better
You've noticed A positive mindset change
You feel in control of your daily habits
You're eating higher quality, nutrient dense - whole foods more often
You're less concerned with the progress of others
Your daily routine is more structured
You feel confident in your own skin and don't care too much about what others think
Your weight is not a great measure of your health or progress, at least as a stand-alone indicator or even if you’re new on your journey.
It doesn’t give you a great picture of your health, it can vary on a daily basis as your body type, muscle mass bone density, water retention, alcohol consumption, sleep, carb intake and a lot of other factors have influence on it.
It is definitely an important data point to understand from a longer term health perspective but we need to learn how to just treat it as a number on a scale and not let it define our worth or value.
