SIGNS OF PROGRESS

  • You feel more energetic through the day

  • You're learning your own hunger cues

  • Your relationship with food has improved

  • Your sleep quality and/or quality has improved

  • You're moving more

  • You're drinking more water regularly

  • You're feeling less stressed

  • Your clothes are fitting better

  • You've noticed A positive mindset change

  • You feel in control of your daily habits

  • You're eating higher quality, nutrient dense - whole foods more often

  • You're less concerned with the progress of others

  • Your daily routine is more structured

  • You feel confident in your own skin and don't care too much about what others think

Your weight is not a great measure of your health or progress, at least as a stand-alone indicator or even if you’re new on your journey.

It doesn’t give you a great picture of your health, it can vary on a daily basis as your body type, muscle mass bone density, water retention, alcohol consumption, sleep, carb intake and a lot of other factors have influence on it.

It is definitely an important data point to understand from a longer term health perspective but we need to learn how to just treat it as a number on a scale and not let it define our worth or value.

So while that’s something to think about, here are a few other signs that you can gauge your progress to being a healthier version of you with!
